I hope you’ve had an incredible week! I can smell the December holidays and after this month that felt like 6 I am quite happy to almost see the end of November. And the weekend of course. I am happy to see the weekend.
It’s time for another Friday Triad with Juanita and Joyce . So once a month we will make turns choosing someones nail art to use as inspiration for this post. You can look forward to these posts on the last Friday of each month. This month it was Juanita’s turn to choose and she chose this great design from Courtney at @thenailartbabe. I was really excited and drawn to the gradient but I got a bit panicky about the pattern. Let me show you what I managed to whip up.
I started with 2 coats of OPI – I’m on a sushi roll on my pinky and index and 1 coat of OPI – This cost me mint on my middle and ring finger. I then did a sponged gradient on my middle and ring finger using OPI – You’re so outta lime, OPI – This cost me mint and OPI – I’m on a sushi roll. I topcoated that and let it dry completely. I then found a single vinyl in the perfect pattern. I don’t know what it’s called but it is the perfect Aztec pattern. I applied this to the tip of my middle and ring finger ( literally 1 vinyls so I had to do them one at a time) and then added a coat of OPI – Never have too mani friends on the tips, removing the vinyl immediately. I topcoated everything and that was that.
I was very excited to do the gradient and I really enjoyed the colours I chose as well. I am so glad I found that single vinyl otherwise I have no idea what I would’ve done with the tips ;). I can’t wait to see what Juanita and Joyce create so pop over there to see their versions!

Ohhhhh, those colors are beautiful! And I just knew you would go for vinyls… I just knew it! The result is gorgeous though, great job!

Hahaha thank you! ?? I had one single vinyl left and I saw it as a sign that I had to use it ? now I have to get a stamping plate with that pattern pronto
You might want to check out MoYou Holy Shapes 05. I may or may not have been looking at that one before I decided to take a different route ? (not sure if it’s still available though, as MoYou had decided to go all limited edition)

How did you manage with one vinyl???
Hahaha I am sure there will be lots of pink and purple to come.
I just did one nail at a time and worked quickly so that no polish dried too much and got tacky 😛
