What a week it has been! I hope you’e had a good one. Things are starting to wind down to holiday mode over here. One more week before everyone is on holiday and I hope to take some serious advantage of that.
It is now very definitely summer and I tend to grab more neon polishes lately. I don’t really believe that you can only use certain colours in certain seasons but I do usually go with what colours appeal to me. Right now, I am gravitating towards the neons while I roast away in the heat. Of course, I love a leopard print so it seemed like a good time to combine those. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Too yacht to handle on my index, 2 coats of China Glaze – That’s shore bright on my pinky and a sponged gradient using both polishes on my middle and ring finger. Once that was dry I did the leopard print over the gradient and alternated the colours opposite to the gradient. I then used Wet n wild – Black creme for the edges of the leopard print, topcoated and voila!
I really enjoyed wearing these bright colours together and the leopard print was such a nice pop. These are some of my favourites neons too and I should probably start getting backups as I think all my sunsational polishes are running low. What do you think? Do you only like neons in summer time?
