Before I get to the post for this week, I just wanted to also (again) share the prompt list for next year. Let me know if you’ll be joining in.
Ok back to this year. The prompt for this week is Nude and if you’ve been here for a while you would know that I love nude polish. I have so many nude polishes that it was quite tricky to decide what to go with for this. Of course I have that China Glaze – Shades of nude collection and it is really the perfect collection for this prompt. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – head to taupe on my pinky and ring finger. I then did a sponged gradient on my middle and index using China Glaze – Head to taupe, China Glaze – Fresher than my clique and China Glaze – Head to taupe. Once that was completely dry I stamped a straight line over the gradient using Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and then added the heart in the middle of the line using Lina – All about love 02 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then added a coat of OPI – Sunrise….bedtime on my pinky and then did a glitter gradient with Sunrise…bedtime on my ring finger. I topcoated everything and that was that.
I won’t lie, I did about 3 different versions of this prompt. I always had the same polishes but tried different things on it and this is the one I liked the most. What do you think? Are you also a sucker for nude polish?
