52 week nail art challenge – Week 52: New Year

Hi lovelies,

I hope you have had a lovely festive season so far. I can’t believe we are so close to the end of the year again.

Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio.  As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.Image

The prompt for this week – and the very last one for the year – is New Year! Previously I have gone quite blingy for New Years but this year I wanted to do something a little more subdued but still sparkly. Let me show you what I did.

I started with 2 coats of Essence – peach dreams are made of this on my ring finger and 2 coats of Essence – Serendipity on the rest of my nails. Once that was all dry I used China Glaze – Silver of sorts to make a glitter gradient on my ring finger. I topcoated everything and once it was dry I went in with a matte topcoat on all my nails except my ring finger. That was that.
