Hello lovelies!
Happy 2020! I hope your New Years was amazing and that your year is off to a great start!
This seems like a great time to add a new little adventure to the fold. You know about Friday Triad, Polished pretties monthly mani and the #52weeknailchallenge. Now it is time for ‘My plate, your polish’. Joyce and I will be challenging each other every first and third Friday of the month. One of us will pick the stamping plate and the other will pick the polish. From there it is free reign as long as the polish and the image on the plate is main focus.
This time I chose the polish – OPI – Hands off my Kielbasa! – and Joyce chose the stamping plate – Pueen83 bottom left image – and off we went. I must say, it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be so let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Flip flip fantasy on my pinky and 2 coats of OPI – Hands off my Kielbasa! on the rest of my nails. Once it was all dry I double stamped on my index and middle nail using pueen83 and first Mundo de Unas – So hot! and then over that with Mundo de Unas – Black. I topcoated and voila!
I really though this would easier but I actually struggled a bit. I wanted to incorporate the neon because summer. I also thought it would be a nice contrast with Hands off my kielbasa! but in the end the stamping was a bit harder to see. What do you think? Does it work? I also took the opportunity to do a swatch.
OPI – Hands off my kielbasa
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a coppery tan with shimmer that has a metallic finish. It was really great to work with and I absolutely loved wearing it too. Great opacity and formula.
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
Ooh, this looks pretty! I love that subtle double stamping (and how completely different from mine it it 😉 )

Hahahaha so different. I think I went with the neon because I knew you wouldn’t. I LOVE yours way more 😉
