Hey guys,
So this week just went by in a blink of an eye right? Happy Friday! I hope you have a great weekend ahead. I have a whole weekend of nail stuff planned.
Things have finally gone back to normal around here. Holidays are officially over and everyone is back into regular routines. It’s nice to get back into a routine again but I won’t lie that I miss the holidays already. To ease back into things I was looking for some simple but pretty nail art to do. I saw this post by @chalkboardnails and I was totally inspired. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – DJ blue my mind on my pinky and 2 coats of China Glaze – Pixilated on the rest of my nails. Once it was completely dry I stamped using Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – Turquoise to stamp the single lines in different directions. I topcoated and that was that.
I really liked how this turned out although I do think the original inspo is much better. What do you think? I quite like the simplistic nail designs like these. Do you like the more intricate and elaborate nail art or do you also think the simplistic nail designs can be fun?
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
Oh, I like it! I love both elaborate and minimal designs, as long as they feel “me” so I can wear them for a couple of days. This one? Could definitely be a me-manicure 😉
