Hey guys,
It’s Friday again! Even though I am looking forward to relaxing and sleeping in but even more than that is the prospect of cooler weather on the horizon. I am not saying I hate summer but you guys, I am not a fan. The last few days have been stupid hot and I am suffering!
It’s time for the next instalment of a new little adventure to the fold. Joyce and I will be challenging each other every first and third Friday of the month. One of us will pick the stamping plate and the other will pick the polish. If we don’t have the exact same polish / plate it can be substitut4ed for something similar. This choice will be made by the person who picked. From there it is free reign as long as the polish and the image on the plate is main focus.
This week I chose the plate – Pueen103 – and Joyce chose the polish. Joyce chose Colors by Llarowe – Berries in the snow but as I don’t have that polish it will be substituted with ILNP – Black orchid (Joyce approved 😉 ) So, let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of ILNP – Nostalgia on my pinky and 2 coats of ILNP – Black orchid on the rest of my nails. While that was drying I stamped using Pueen103 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I used ILNP – Nostalgia to fill in the small part of the image. I then applied that the my middle and ring finger. I topcoated and tah-dah!
I quite liked how the duochrome paired with dark colour. This was a little easier for me than the previous one and I liked the combination of the choices. I even did a swatch.
ILNP – Black orchid
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a deep Burgundy / purple holo. You can see the holo better in the bottle than on my nails. This is a gorgeous gorgeous polish with a great formula.
What do you think of our choices this week? Pop over to Joyce to see what she created with our choices. I can’t wait to see what she did!
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
Ohhh… your Black Orchid looks almost brown next to Nostalgia (that is gorgeous btw) and your tan. My sickly pale fingers make it look like a true wine color 🙂
Having said that… love it! I wish I had thought of using a multichrome! *makes note for future reference*
