I hope you had a fabulous weekend. It looks like my weekend went by as fast as last week did but here we are ready to take on another week.
Time for the next prompt of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is zig zag and I love a goo zig zag. Of course it is quite open ended as it can be so many variations of zig zag and any combination of colours. How fun. So let me show you what I did.
I started with 3 coats of Essence – My sparkling darling on my pinky and 1 coat of Essence – Grey zone on the rest of my nails. Once it was completely dry I did a smoosh on my index, middle and ring finger using Essence – Grey zone, Essence – Forgive me and Essence – My sparkling darling. I let the smoosh dry and stamp on my middle and ring finger using Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – White. I topcoat everything and that was that.
I really enjoyed wearing this one. I wanted to use muted and dusty shades like the grey and muted pink with a pop of sparkle with the glitter (which is also a bit of a dusty pink). I had hoped for a better smoosh but it was ok to let it stay and I really liked the white stamping over it. What do you think?
