Hello lovelies,
I hope you had a fabulous weekend. Can you believe it is February already? Didn’t we just do Christmas nail art?
Time for the next prompt of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is blue & gold and I knew immediately which blue I wanted to use. I was a bit torn on the gold part but eventually settled on a simple stripe. Let me show you the polish I used,
OPI – Chills are multiplying
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a deep blue with a beautiful blue shimmer. This has a great formula and great opacity. This polish is absolutely gorgeous and is a million times better in person. The shimmer really really pops. Let me show you what I did with it
I started with 2 coats of OPI – Chills are multiplying on all my nails and then stamped using Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – Light gold. I stamped a stripe across each tip and an additional one vertically down my ring finger. I topcoated and voila! Of course, I had to try this in matte too to see how this gorgeous looks in matte.
I actually don’t know if I prefer the matte or the glossy version. The shimmer definitely pops with the glossy topcoat but the matte definitely has a gorgeous feel to it. What do you think?
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
Glossy it’s pretty but matted… *swoons*
