Hello lovelies,
Right back to the weekend we go! I hope you’ve had a fabulous week and the weekend is even better. I am quite looking forward to sleeping in!
It’s time for the next instalment of My polish, your plate. Joyce and I will be challenging each other every first and third Friday of the month. One of us will pick the stamping plate and the other will pick the polish. If we don’t have the exact same polish / plate it can be substituted for something similar. This choice will be made by the person who picked. From there it is free reign as long as the polish and the image on the plate is main focus.
This time Joyce chose the polish and I chose the plate. Joyce chose China Glaze – DV8 and I chose the leaf image on MoYou London – Trend hunter 12. It was quite an interesting combination and I was stumped for a bit. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 3 coats of China Glaze – Grass is lime greener on my pinky and 2 coats of China Glaze – DV8 on the rest of my nails. While that was drying I went to work on the stamping. I stamped using MoYou London – Trend hunter 12 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then used China Glaze – Grass is lime greener to fill in the leaves. Once that was dry I applied it to my middle and index. I topcoated and voila!
I ended up really liking this and wore it for a good few days too. I quite like the holo and neon together.
What do you think of our choices this week? Pop over to Joyce to see what she created with this combo. I bet it is going to be something amazing!
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
Wow… that neon is almost blinding!
Love the combination though and I keep thinking it’s so interesting to see we use the same plate and the same polish and end up with totally different nails 🙂
