Hey guys,
It’s Monday again and a new month. I am so ready to take it on after a productive but relaxing weekend. What about you?
Time for the next prompt of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.Image
The prompt this week is Neon and man, I love neon. I almost had too many ideas for this prompt because really, you can’t go wrong with neon anything right? I just wish neon was captured easier on camera. These were much better in real life. Let me show you what I did
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Shades & gentlemen on my pinky and index and 2 coats of China Glaze – Cabana fever on my middle and ring fingers. Once that was dry I did the leopard print using China Glaze – You drive me coconuts, China Glaze – Yellow polka dot bikini and China Glaze – Pool party. I then used China Glaze – shadies & gentlemen’s as the edges of the leopard print. I topcoated everything and because it was all quite matte to begin with I knew I wanted to keep it matte. I finished it off with a matte topcoat and voila!
Like I said, this was super bright and super neon on person. So much that it it completely freaked out the camera. I even tried a flash shot….
….and even though it is better, it still doesn’t really show off how bright it is. So here is a random shot I took while I was outside checking the post. Anyway, what do you think?
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
I’m not ready… I want some more weekend 😉
