Hey lovelies,
I hope you have had a fabulous weekend. I know the whole world is anxiously watching the health crises so I hope you are all safe.
Time for the next prompt of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.Image
The prompt this week is unused polish. I certainly have quite a few of those so I thought it would be quite tricky. I had an idea for some nail art and I grabbed some polishes that I thought would work. Once I was done I realised that all the polishes were unused so I thought it was perfect for this prompt. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of I-Scream nails – Pop tart on my pinky and index and 2 coats of I-Scream nails – Disco candy on my middle and ring finger. I left that to dry completely and then used tape to section off my middle and ring finger vertically and applied I-Scream nails – Pop tart to the opposite ends of each nails, removing the tape immediately. I let that dry a bit and then I did the stamping. I stamped on the silver section with Lina – Twirls & Swirls 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then added a black stripe where the red and silver meet using Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I topcoated everything and voila!
This didn’t really turn out the way I had planned but I got a little carried away by the polishes. These polishes are so stunning. Ok, it is kinda what I had in mind but I did change what I planned to stamp because the polish is so gorgeous it needed to be shown off more. I also spotted a blurry pic while I went through them and I loved how the holo read showed up so I am including that too.
What do you think? Does it work? Do you think the polish together works?
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
Red, black and silver? Nope, never works… you should know that by now 😛
Duhhh… stunning or gorgeous, you pick whichever you think applies best!
