Teal flowers and gradients

This is a long weekend but with the current lockdown it doesn’t mean much. Regardless, happy Good Friday. I hope your easter weekend is spent is blessed. Please stay home as our lockdown is extended already.

I won’t lie, I am struggling to find motivation. You would think having so much more time to spend on doing my nails would mean I am on top of it but truth be told, I am just not getting there. Regardless, the show must go on so here I am with some nail art. Let me show you what I did,

I started with 2 coats of OPI – Is that a spear in your pocket on my pinky and 2 coats of OPI – One Heckla of a color on the rest of my nails. I then did a sponged gradient on my index and middle finger using OPI – One heckla of a color and OPI – Is that a spear in your pocket. I topcoated and let that dry while I got to work on the stamping. I stamped using MoYou – Flower power 04 and Mundo de Unas – Back. I then filled in the flowers using China Glaze – Techno teal. I applied this over the gradient, topcoated and voila!

I actually enjoyed these colours together and both those polishes were such a breeze to gradient with. I also really like how the shimmery teal flowers turned out. What do you think? Does it work?
