Hey guys,
I apologise in advance for the lame post title. I was trying to be funny with the polish names but I don’t think that went so well :P. Lockdown brain has me scrambling! How is your week going?
So like I said I was playing with the polish name for the title because it was really all I had to start this nail art with. I grabbed this polish off my rack and I realised I don’t think I had used it at all yet. I swatched it and I knew I had to use it. Let me show you the polish and then what I did with it.
Dollish Polish – Oh, hai Mark
This is 3 easy coats with topcoat. This is a blackened blue jelly packed with violet and various shades of blue glitter. It’s so beautiful and applies really well too. 3 coats was a breeze but you might even be happy with 2 coats.
I knew I wanted to use this but I was also pressed for time and low on inspiration so I went super simple with nail art.
I started with 3 coats of Dollish Polish – Oh, hai Mark on al my nails and left that to dry completely. I then stamped on my middle and ring fingers using Lina – I foil in love 01 and Mundo de Unas – Blue gray. I topcoated and that was that.
My original idea was to use another polish on some nails and do reverse stamping but I was a little concerned about the opacity of Oh hai Mark on a different polish. I then thought of negative space stamping and well….here we are. I am really struggling with inspiration and focus during this lockdown. You would think with staying home all I could do is nails but nooooooo. Anyway, I am going to get myself together and try and find that inspo.
Thanks for reading,
Karen
What a great manicure! Love the stamping you did.
