52 week nail art challenge – Week 17: Holo

Hi lovelies,

I hope you had a fabulous weekend. It is a public holiday here today so still weekend. Although if you are in lockdown it’s probably all pretty same same.

The prompt this week is holo and who doesn’t love a holo right? I actually struggled to decide which holo I wanted to use until I remember a dream I had about purple and yellow nails. I knew this was the time. Let me show you what I did,

I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Dark room on my pinky and ring finger and 2 coats of Starrily – Ultraviolet on my middle and index. Once that was all completely dry I started stamping. I stamped using Lina – Feeling shapely 09 and first Mundo de Unas – Yellow and then Mundo de Unas – Black. I topcoated that was that.

I am not sure if this really works but I was just so drawn to the purple and yellow together. I did want to keep it fairly simple though so I just wanted to add a thin line of yellow. One day I will be able to stamp straight though 😉 I wish the holo showed up as strong as it was but it is such a beautiful purple. What do you think?

I must say, slowing down my posting schedule a bit has really helped. I might continue it for the next month if I am honest. I will pick it up again once the Covid19 chaos has settled down.
