Have you had a good week? It feels like this week was a month long but it’s Friday so it can only get better right?
It’s another special day as we celebrate a special birthday. Happy birthday to our dearest Ren. I hope you have an incredible day filled with so much love and spoils…..and a lot of HP! 😉 I also have to apologise for just not getting in the right frame of nail art mind. This looked great in my mind 😉 Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of OPI – Super star status on my ring finger and 2 coats of OPI – Don’t bossa Nova me around on the rest of my nails. I let it all dry completely before I got to work with my dotting tools. I did 2 big dots using Sinful Colors – Dark room and then 2 dots of OPI – Don’t Bossa nova me around over that. I then did a connection line between the two dots with a thin nail art brush so these resemble glasses. I then used the same brush to the little thunderbolt as well. I did this on my index and middle finger, topcoated everything and that was that.
Obviously, my ‘glasses’ are not perfect. The one side of both seems to be a bit thicker than the other but I am hoping you didn’t notice it till now ;). I wanted to do all the house colours but then I saw this nude version (I can’t find it again to credit but it was on Pinterest) and I fell in love with it. I don’t do it much justice here but I hope the idea translates well. Next time I am doing the different houses for sure. Obviously by then I should have my mojo back as well. 😉
