I hope you had a great weekend. Mine went by very quickly and didn’t feel much different to week days but hopefully things start getting back to normal soon.
Time for the next prompt of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is game and I was actually really excited about this one. In the beginning of the year when I went through all the prompt this was one I was excited to do and had an idea for almost immediately. Of course, I also thought I would have longer nails but here we are ;). I had to make some changes to my idea but still kept to the theme and just adjusted to something that would fit. Let me show you what I did
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Ho! Ho! No. on all my nails and let that dry. I then stamped using MoYou London – Games 02 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then coloured in the cards using Sinful Colors – Snow me white. When this dried a little I applied them to my ring and middle finger. I topcoated and that was that.
This turned out quite simple compared to what I initially wanted to do but I was relying on the contrast of the red and the black and white. This is one prompt I hope sticks around for next year and hopefully my nails will be long and I can do my initial idea. What are your favourite games? I don’t really play card games at all (or know how to) but I love cards and the look of them.
