Hi lovelies,
Are you having a good week so far? Mine seems to be going by quite fast which is not a bad thing at all. The last few weeks have crawled by so to finally have time feeling like normal again is nice.
One thing about getting back into regular scheduling is filling up the days with nail art even where there are no prompts. I feel like this is the first one since the because it has been in my head for quite a while. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of Jessica – Meet at the plaza on my pinky and ring finger and 2 coats of China Glaze – Note to selfie on my index and middle finger. I then added a coat of ILNP – the magician on my index and middle nail and left that to dry completely. I started with the stamping by using Lina – Feeling shapely 09, Mundo de Unas – Military green and Mundo de Unas – Copper for the shapes. Then I used Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black for the stripes. I then took a small dotting tool and Sinful Colors – Snow me white to make a few random polka dot patterns. I topcoated and that was that.
This didn’t turn out quite as I expected. I almost never layer polishes so I am actively trying to do more of that. In this case, I don’t think it worked out so well. You can barely see the effect of The Magician on the light nude nails. I though after the fact that maybe I should’ve used it on the dark green shade but it wasn’t really the look I was going for either. Although it probably would’ve been more effective. Anyway, what do you think? Does it work?
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
I love the manicure but you’re right that Magician is hardly visible. Maybe it’s too fine to layer over a light color? But visible or not, the entire look is stunning!
