I hope you had a great weekend. This is the last full week of May and I can’t believe it. The first half of this year has just flown by but also felt like a long, bad movie.
Time for the next prompt of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt today is pet and if you know me personally, you know I have many pets. Initially I had so many ideas with all the different pets but in the end I settled on my kitty. She is probably my oldest pet and I knew I wanted to use black and green. So let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Dark room on my ring finger and 3 coats of I-scream nails – Mint Pattie on the rest of my nails. Once it was all dry I stamped using BM-412 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I topcoated and that was that.
I was going to put little kitty paw prints on as well but once I added them it just felt a bit too much. I went back to just the kitty stamping and I think it worked better. It also represent my cat Shadows personality. Less is more ;). The reason I chose these colours is because she is a black with big green eyes. I’m not sure if I really did a great job with this prompt but it was about time that Shadow got some love ;). What do you think? Does it work? Do you have any pets?
