It’s finally Friday!!!!! This week has felt awfully long and I am a little glad to see the weekend. I hope you have a great weekend planned?
This is the last of the spoils I got from Nicola and another favourite. I only have one other Avon polish (also from Nicola) but this is my first try of the Gel finish range and I really love it. Let me show you.
Avon – Parfait pink
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s a nice bright but deep pink. Slightly lighter than the Bourjois but close. I know my camera hates pink but this is pretty close. It might be a bit closer in the nail art I did below though. This has a stunning formula and get opacity. It can almost be a one coater. It also dries with a super shiny finish. I used it in some zig zag nail art too.
I used 2 coats of Avon – Parfait pink on all my nails except my pinky, which is 2 coats of OPI – Love.Angel.Music.Baby. Once that was all dry I used the mini chevron vinyls from Naivynils.com on my ring and middle fingers and then topped it with OP – Love.Angel.Music.Baby and removed the vinyls immediately after. I then topcoated everything except my pinky to keep the satin finish on the gold. For some reason my ring finger seems to have some shimmery goldiness near the tip and I have no idea how that happened. Luckily it wasn’t really noticeable just by looking at it.
What do you think? Isn’t this a gorgeous pink? Do you think the gold and the pink works together? Also, how gorgeous are these zig zags? Thanks so much Nicola for the stunning polish and way to go Avon!

I’m pretty picky with my pink polishes, but I’d totally wear this! I like how it’s almost a dusty rose shade and it looks great with the gold!

I bought this Parfait Pink nail polish because I also loved the dusty rose color and how nicely it paired with the gold. I was concerned because every other picture on google asides from this one showed it being a totally different shade of pink. However she had mentioned even though her camera hates pink this showed almost true to color. Let me assure you it does NOT and all the other google images were correct!!! I’m not sure if she messed up with the nail polish name?…If not her camera really does hate pink lol because Parfait Pink is not even close to the image she has and does not pair nice with gold. Really disappointed. 🙁
Carly – I have this Avon as well and it seems to match the swatch.. perhaps you have a Monitor/Screen issue??

Thanks so much Juanita. I unfortunately didn’t test it for wear but I had it on my right hand for 4 days and there were no sign of chips or anything but he time I removed it.
