Hi lovelies,
Oopsie, I completely forgot that it is Wednesday today. What a downer to realise it is not Thursday as I thought. 😛 Hope you’re having a good week anyway.
This is another spoil from Nicola and I was just as excited about this one. I have never tried a Bourgeois polish before even though I have bought one. It was an impulse buy and I regretted it almost immediately (so unlike me) and traded it straight away for something else. So yay for me for finally having a Bourjois to try and and love. Unfortunately I can’t find the name of this polish anywhere on the bottle. Am I being silly? Am I missing it? If you know the secret please let me know. In the mean time, let me show you.
**Edit** The lovely Nicola showed me where to find at least the number of this polish. It is shade number 15 and you can find this number on the back of the bottle. Thank you Nicola!
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It is a darkish but bright pink with a very subtle pink shimmer. Really good formula and opacity. The big thing here for me was the brush. I don’t know why I didn’t take a photo of it but it’s quite short and angled (almost like a gel eyeliner brush but not s short). When I first saw it my reaction was ‘well what the heck am I gonna do with this?’. Once I started using it though, wow. It really is a neat little brush. Because of the angle I could paint right to the edges but no flooded cuticles or mess. I had barely any cleanup to do here. Good job on the brush Bourjois! Also, how gorgeous is this pink? You can see more of the shimmer in the bottle on this photo than on the nails. It’s really subtle but so gorgeous.
I didn’t want to cover up too much of this so I decided to just add a bit of leopard print on 2 nails. Have I told you yet how much I love leopard print?
I added some freehand leopard print by using Sinful Colors – Snow me white for the spots and Sinful Colors – Black on black for the ‘borders’. Simple and easy and I love the black and white on the pink. What do you think? Have you tried Bourjois polishes yet?

Wow! Love it Michelle… Yip, they make a great brush.
XX And I know how you feel… I woke up thinking “Ahhh… Thursday” only to have to remind myself that last night was actually Tuesday… Oh to sleep an entire day away…
And just so you know it’s so nice having you back with posting… now a bit more Twitter presence please 😛

Is there a big number on the back of the bottle? That will be its shade name (just did some googling)

🙁 Nope just a barcode?

Wow, that is a gorgeous colour. I once won a Bourjois hamper and it came with a pretty pink polish. It’s the gel texture variety (in fuchsia) with the bottle with the long pointy top. I haven’t worn it in a while but it has a beautiful smooth texture and the brush makes it easy to apply. This one looks good too. Wish I could see the shimmers on your nails though!

Thanks so much Lindsey. I will definitely look into more Bourjois colours. This one really impressed me and is so gorgeous. The shimmer is really subtle. It was only while I painted that it caught my eye but it definitely make the polish pop a little more.
