Hi lovelies,
I am so glad it’s Friday. This week has been a little insane but it’s Friday and the weather is gorgeous. Off to the pool I go!
I have a polish to show you from Hean City Fashion collection that I got from Glamore Cosmetics. I really love this colour but I have a suspicion there will be a lot of people who wouldn’t even look at it twice. Hopefully I can show you how gorgeous it can be and that you need it too. Let me show you Hean City Fashion #167.
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s a chocolaty brown creme with a great formula and opacity. It remind me a bit of China Glaze – Foie Gras. I don’t know if this is a colour most people would even consider but I love these types of colours. They’re great for the colder months, they go well with almost any colour, they are a great base for nail art and goes well with almost any skin tone. I am definitely a fan! Let me show you what I did with nail art.
I started with my base of 2 coats of Hean #167 and then went to work with my chevron tape guides from Born Pretty Store. I used Hean City Fashion #168 and I tried to create different chevron patterns on each nail. I definitely prefer using vinyls over tape guides because as you can see here, vinyls give you much sharper edges and cleaner lines. I did each nail and then removed the tape guides immediately after. Once I had done all my nails I topcoated and that was that. I really like this combination. I think the colours go so well together too.
What do you think? Do you think it works? Is Hean #167 a colour you would pick up or stay away from? Don’t forget to pop over to Glamore Cosmetics and grab all your favourite goodies. You can find them here.
