Hi lovelies,
Happy Friday! I won’t lie, it’s been a crazy busy week. I hope I can get through everything today and not have to do catch up the whole weekend. Oh who am I kidding, of course I will be doing catch up on the weekend 😛 Do you have any fun plans?
I love a beautiful holo polish and the other day I realised I hadn’t worn a holo for the longest time. It was time to rectify that. I grabbed my trusty China Glaze and fell in love all over again. Let me show you
China Glaze – LOL
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s a beautiful purple strong holo. I know this collection isn’t the easiest to find so I am thrilled that I have been able to scoop up a few of these. The formula is great and so is the opacity. 2 easy, smooth beautiful coats. This is just so stunning! I definitely have to use a few more of these.
Let me show you the nail art I did. I always try not to cover up the holo too much but I also couldn’t stick to just the bubbles.
Unfortunately the topcoat dulled the holo just enough that it didn’t pick up so well in my lightbox. I could’ve waited till the next day but I didn’t want to risk tipwear 😉 I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – LOL on all my nails. On my middle and ring fingers I stamped using BM505 and MoYou stamping polish in black. On my index and pinky I used a combination of tape and striping tape to make diagonal lines. I then added a coat of Sinful Colors – Black on black, making sure to remove the tape immediately after. I then topcoated and bob’s your auntie.
What do you think? I really like how the holo pops against the black. Of course, I LOVE this polish too. Do you have any of these holographic polishes from China Glaze? I hope you have a fabulous weekend and I will see you on the flip side!
Thanks for reading,
Tyler Leigh
