Great title for this post right? I am so creative….
I recently did a purple gradient for the first time and I actually enjoyed the ‘process’. I knew I had to try it again. So I did 🙂
I used Tip Top – Melting Marshmallow (Pink), Tip Top – We Have an Agreen-mint (Green) and Tip Top – Cha Cha Cha (Turqoise -ish). I loved how it turned out and I thought the colours worked great together. Really bright and eye catching.
I then added a weave pattern as an accent nail. I used Tip Top – Black Forest and my Essence Nail Art Designer (striping brush) to make the weave pattern. Once I could see the pattern it was easy to replicate it on my nail. I used a little trick here. It is easier to keep the brush steady and move your nail/finger as opposed to moving the brush. It really helped a ton even though I am clearly no expert.
Once I did the one nail with the pattern I am so glad I just stuck to doing one nail. I would love to try this again but with a different base colour. Maybe even more than one nail?
PS: You will probably be noticing the different length of my nails from one post to the next. Some of these were taken before the tragic accident of the nail variety. There are only a few older posts left so they will be a bit more consistent soon. 😉
