Curvy Dots

So now that I have confirmed over and over my love for polka dots I figured it was time to do something a little different with them.  Of course there still has to be polka dots….

I decided to do this curvy polka dot design.  I really liked the way it came out.  I feel that on the photo it all just looks like a hodge podge of polka dots but it really looked quite nice.

I started off with a base colour of Essence – Free Hugs.

I then used my Essence Duo Stylist dotting tool and started making dots by alternating colours starting with the single dot right at the tip of my nail. The colours for the dots are:

• Essence – Break Through (darker purple)
• Essence – Naughty & Pink (darker pink)
• Essence – Oh My Glitter! (lighter purple)

I was actually thinking of stopping when I got halfway down my nail (more or less after dotting all the colours once) because I thought that looked really nice.  I ended up finishing the intended idea though.  For some reason I didn’t get much photo’s of this.

What do you think?  Isn’t this such a girly design?
