Some clarification

In light of the pledge I took over at LadyBloggers promising honesty and transparency, I thought now would be a good time to clarifying something.

I have always been honest when posting anything on my blog but I realise that I might not always have been 100% clear.   At any time when I post about a specific brand or product, I am by no means claiming that it is the best product or even the only one.  It simply means it is the one I tried or own.  If I am comparing it to another product that is similar I would specifically say so.  If I had used a similar product and therefore have something to compare it to I would specifically say that as well.  If that is not the case, it simply means I am telling you about the product or brand.

I also do not receive any free products.  If  I do, I would clearly mark those posts as such.  If I received something as a gift I will clearly specify.  If it is a product I have won in a giveaway or competition I will also clearly specify that.  I mention this because I don’t want there to be any misunderstanding about why I write what I write.  There are some brands that I just love and I make it quite obvious but I am always honest and impartial.

I buy all these products myself.  I would love to hear if there is anything specific you want to read more about or anything you would like to see.  I won’t make any promises but I will definitely keep it in mind when I go shopping again.  Of course, also within reason.  So please don’t hesitate to let me know.  I am very open to answering questions as well.  Have at it.
