I am still in love with polka dots and even pink hasn’t gotten old yet. It seemed like the perfect time to combine the two. Throw in a bit of striping tape and you end up with something fun.
I decided to use OPI – If You Moust you Moust:
This is a gorgeous creamy pink. Two coats here with no topcoat. Application was pretty flawless. And it’s pink 😉
I also used (what I suspect is) Sinful Colors – Cool Gray
I thought these two looked great together. This is what I did.
I painted my index and pinky finger with OPI – If you Moust you Moust and my middle and ring finger with Sinful Colors – Cool Gray. Two coats of each. Once that was good and dry I used striping tape on my pinky and middle finger. I then painted the alternate colour on each and immediately took off the tape.
I then used the alternating colour and my dotting tool to make the polka dots on my index and ring finger. I also did the polka dots on my thumbs. I topped everything off with topcoat.
I messed up one of the lines on my middle finger when I took the tape off but I tried to fix it with a brush afterwards. I actually really liked this and wore it for the longest time.
What do you think? Do you also like polka dots and stripes? I am still not better and I am starting to wonder if I will ever feel healthy again. Hope the winter sniffles has left you alone so far.
