Hello lovelies,
I am just going to start off by saying I was not looking forward to this topic at. all. Not one bit. I wasn’t sure how to interpret it. I love galaxies and have seen some gorgeous ones but I just knew I wasn’t able to do a good one. So meh.
I decided to do a night to day concept. I also wanted to do a nebula galaxy. I did give this my best shot but meh. Here it is.
On my pinky and ring finger I did a sponged gradient with Tip Top – Beach Babe and Essence – Upper Green Side. I wanted it to look land – sky ish but apparently my rainbow covered it up anyway. I took a small torn off piece of sponge with white to make little clouds under and over the rainbow. The rainbow was done with LA Colors stripers. For the galaxies I used a tons of polishes. I am going to try and remember them all. I started with Tip Top – Stormy Sky. I added a coat of Bella from the Essence Twins Reloaded set. Then I took the torn bit of sponge again and with white polish I sponged on the ‘nebula’ shape. Also with a tons piece of sponge I used Tip Top – Beach Babe and sponged it over the white. I used Mr Big from another Essence Twins Reloaded set and added the pink glitter over the nebula. With a small nail art brush and dotting tool I added little clusters of ‘stars’ (dots) here and there and then a bigger star on each nail. Finally I topped it with a coat of Tip Top – Rocky Road glitter. Phew, that’s a mouth full.
I feel quite meh about this but hey, I had to post something.

I agree with Heather! Shut up, this is BEAUTIFUL! The night/day concept translated awesomely in my opinion because it does look like 2 opposing situations! Like good and evil…does what I say make any sense at all? Does what I say EVER make any sense at all?? …Anyhoo, my point is it is frakking awesome so you just sushhhh mkay???? SHHHH! …Beautiful!
