Hi lovelies,
I told you I would tell you more about it soon! I am going to keep my Thursday posts for reviews and posts about DBNBloggermeet so you will probably get tired of it way before I am done 😉
First of all, of course, is our venue sponsor.
I was really excited about going to this brand new venue. They have only been open a month and I can already see a great future for them in Durban. I really like the layout but the big highlight of the premises for me, was the bathroom. Otherwise knows as the #SelfieZone.
From the minute we arrived to set up, the staff were just amazing. They were so helpful and accommodating while we basically just took over. They even helped us hide away all the goodie bags until much later. Our waitress, Mush, was just amazing! Dealing with 25 ladies is no easy task but she took it all in her stride. Not once did she stress, get overwhelmed or get confused. I don’t know about you but that is impressive!
The amazing Hashtag team sponsored us soft drinks, a pizza each AND a dessert. Can you say spoilt? We met the amazing chef Ronaldo who made all the food. The really fun part of ordering your food is that you get to use a tablet and you can either order one of their set pizzas, burgers or pastas or you can build your own. That’s right, you build your own by choosing the toppings you want and you can even get a simulation of what your food will look like. If you like gadgety stuff as much as I do then you will love this.
I decided to order the lamb and mint supreme pizza. It was a combination that I haven’t seen before so not only was it unique but to me, a great combination. I was blown away when my food arrived!
How delicious does that look? It was SO delicious. The base of this pizza was just perfect! I don’t know what makes it so delicious but I do know I want and NEED more! I couldn’t even talk to anyone while I enjoyed my food because it was heavenly! I actually don’t have the words to describe how amazing this pizza was. I begged Hashtag to let me take Ronaldo home with me but they weren’t budging. For dessert I had the banana fudge spring roll. I really wanted to show you a picture of this beautiful plate but I kinda forgot and gobbled it all up before I even could. You will just have to take my word for it, it was beautiful AND delicious. The other dessert on the menu was chill chocolate cigars and I definitely need some of those next time. It sounds so good.
I don’t have the words to say thank you to Nazreen, Brandon and the Hashtag team but THANK YOU! You guys treated us all like VIP’s and went above and beyond. I will definitely be back with my family and friends to enjoy more of this great vibe.
If you are in the Durban area, even just for a visit, do yourself a favour and head over to Hashtag. They are conveniently situated, great food, phenomenal service (which, let’s be honest, is almost as important as the food) and a great vibe. You can find them on twitter or on Facebook and for more information, the menu, their events or any other information, pop on over to their website. Go visit them and tell them I sent you! Or don’t and make up your own mind. I know you won’t be sorry.
Have you been to Hashtag yet? Why not and when are you going? 😛 I hope to see you there because I will definitely be spending a lot of time there.
Don’t forget to keep an eye out on Thursday for my #DBNBloggerMeet posts and reviews. I might pop some in in-between regular scheduling but I will always use the # (see what I did there? :P)
A few more pics for your to enjoy
