Hi lovelies,
First of all, apologies for no Tuesday stamping post yesterday. I had quite a bit of blog maintenance to do and I couldn’t do a post while that was happening. I promise normal scheduling will return next week. In the mean time, I have added a tab at the top called ‘swatches’. If you click on that you can go to stamping swatches and you can see them all by brand. I will be adding my normal swatches as well in time.
Anyway, back to this collection. I was quite excited when I saw this in Clicks the other day. Some of the polishes from this collection have been around for a while or have popped up in previous collections. I only picked up the ones I didn’t have but I will tell you about them all.
Sinful Colors – Snow me white and Sinful Colors – Black on black have been used often by me. The white is my favourite white to use and the black one of my favourites. You see them here often.
Sinful Colors – Gogo girl is one I picked up with the Buff to bright collection. It is a beautiful bright red jelly.
Sinful Colors – Sugar sugar
I have had Sugar sugar for a while now and it is super gorgeous. I have never been able to get a good photo of it. It is so gorgeous and every photo seems to be lacking. So I have 3 photo’s to show you today, taken in different lighting and angles. Trust me when I say, it is even more gorgeous in real life 😉
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. A beautiful rich red with gold and red shimmer / micro glitter and a great formula. If you only own one red, then this is a very good red to have. Absolutely gorgeous.
The new (to me) polishes in this collection are also beautiful. There are 3 of them. Let’s go.
Sinful Colors – Georgio
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It is a rich blackened red / oxblood creme. Applied like butter. It is SO shiny and beautiful. I don’t often gravitate towards these very dark colours because it looks so much like black but I always end up getting them. This reminds me a bit of Essence – red ahead. I haven’t compared them though. The shiny finish is just crazy (and on that note, sorry for all the glare).
Sinful Colors – Truth or dare
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. A beautiful berry pink creme. Application was a dream with a great formula. This is the one I wanted the most when I saw the collection. It is such a beautiful colour and so versatile too. It really will go with anything. If you follow me on instagram you would’ve seen that my bottle had a hacked up, scary looking brush. I was heartbroken when I saw it but Thea had the brilliant idea of cleaning a brush of an empty polish and swapping the brush. It worked a charm and my broken heart was happy. I love this colour. This reminds me VERY much of Essence – Be berry now. Also a little of China Glaze – Purr-fect plum. I haven’t compared them though. This is what the brush looked like.
Bit of a shocker huh!
Sinful Colors – Tantalize
I didn’t think I was going to like this one but I was surprised. This is 2 coats with no topcoat. A light grey base with silver shimmer. The shimmer gives it so much depth and it really is quite gorgeous. I might use 3 coats if I wear it on its own in future. It has a nice thin formula so 3 coats will be easy.
What do you think of this collection? Are there any that you love? Have you picked up any of these?
Have a beautiful day and enjoy your day off tomorrow. Yes, another public holiday. Everyone loves this time of year 😛
