Hi lovelies,
I hope you had a lovely weekend. We had our first KZN BloggersWhoBless meet on the weekend and it was just so fun. It is always lovely to spend time with fellow bloggers and just relax and have a good time. Sunday we went to the Lego store and it was really cool. I might also be slightly addicted to Minecraft after deciding to play with my husband on Friday. So all in all, a great weekend! What did you get up to?
The combination of black – matte or not – and silver is not a new combination and I was quite excited to do this. I actually want to do this a 100 more times with different images because it was really pretty and I couldn’t stop looking at it. Let me show you,
I started off with 2 coats of the Revlon Chalkboard duo black polish and left that to dry completely. It is one of the nicest matte black polishes I have ever used. I usually just use my matte topcoat but this black is perfect. Once it was completely dry I stamped using BM316 and Tip Top – Armour plate. That’s it. I didn’t topcoat it because I wanted the black to be matte but not the silver. I really loved this combination.
What do you think? Is this a combination you would wear? I love the ‘chrome’ silver with the matte black and I now want to do everything in this combination (I promise I won’t though).
Thanks for reading,

This is an amazing idea and I have to try it! I do not have these beautiful leaves on a stamping plate but I think it would look just as beautiful with any other silver ornament 🙂
