Blogger of the Month for September is going to be a fun one. Let me introduce you…

Please tell us more about yourself and your blog

Gosh, where to start? I’m Juanita and I’m the proud blogger over at sarcasticbynature. I started my blog back in December 2013. It started as a personal blog, as one of my colleagues started one herself, but morphed into my love for nail polish very quickly. Especially after I started following Michelle.

How did you get into polish?

I think I’ve been a fan of polish for some time. I remember back in school I’d wear multiple colours, but it got out of hand when I found the Tip Top facebook page and then I found Michelle and the other bloggers I follow. Here I thought I was being original when I took pictures of my finished manicures!
What is your own favourite kind of nail art / swatch that you’ve done?

I don’t have an all time favourite, it depends on what I’m wearing. If I like what I’m wearing, it’s my current favourite.

What is your favourite kind of nail art / technique?

Hahaha, it has to be cheating. And the easiest way to cheat is to use decals! And after our most recent twinsie post, I have to say I like waterspotting and can’t wait to try it again!

What technique gives you grey hairs? Which one can you just not master or is your least favourite?

It’s difficult to say as the nail artists out there keep coming up with new techniques almost everyday, but since I only ever did one successful water marble, I’d have to say that is my weakness. Oh and my stamping isn’t always great. And my free hand is non existent.

How do you get your nail time on? (Work at night, early in the morning etc)

It depends on my shift at work. Mostly weekends and the random day I have off during the week. I prefer mid morning, that’s when I feel the light is at it’s best.
What has been your proudest moment so far?

It has to be when my swatch of Red-dy steady go was chosen as the Tip Top winner for the swatch comp they had. And being asked to be a blogger of the month!

Would you share your ‘nail station’ with us? Show us where the magic happens

I have a whole table for where the so called magic happens. Right by the window so I can see what I’m doing.

Most embarrassing nail moment or nail fail? (feel free to show us)

At this moment it would have to be the UK flags I did. I kept the decals I made too long and clean up was terrible. It’s the only one I really shared, as for the rest I didn’t even bother sharing.

What polish would you sell your soul for?

Oh gosh I would love the Pipe Dream Polish A Night In Vegas collection. Or one of the holo flakie polishes Christine at Simplynailogical is always showing off with.

What is your favourite snack while doing your nails?

Snack? Who snacks while they do their nails? That’s begging for a smudge or two. My secret pleasure though, is watching Frozen. I’ve probably seen it about 20 times!

Which cartoon character do you relate to most?

I don’t really watch cartoons. I’m more of a series gal. And I love Max from Two Broke Girls… Man, she’s honest. I love it.

The only polish colours in front of you are black, electric blue and neon orange. What do you do and what do you use – and why?

I’d say that I’d redo my one competition entry again. I used yellow, but I’m sure the neon orange will rock it.

Compare your favourite tv / movie crush with a polish and why?

This is quite sad, but I don’t have a crush. I guess I move on to quickly since it depends on what I’m watching. And then it’s only while I’m watching it.

If you could create your own custom polish, what would it be and what would it be named?

Obviously I’ll name it after myself, who wouldn’t. And it will have to be a holo green flakie polish with a colour shift between multiple greens.
