31DC2015 Day 12: Stripes

Hi lovelies,

I slept so late this morning so it feels like I lost half a day.  It was great to sleep in though.  Are you having a good weekend so far?

You can follow everyone taking part by using the #31DC2015.  I am going to be keeping my posts short and sweet throughout the challenge so that it means more time to get cracking with the prompts 😉   Here are the prompts for this year.

There’s not much to say about stripes.  Let me show you why

For the base I sponged on blobs of different colours using the Hean summer collection.  I used Hean #224 Lime sorbet, Hean #223 Lethal lemonade, Hean #227 Summer daze, Hean #233 Lavender dream and Hean #235 Ordinary Misfit. I really loved this combination and could quite happily have left it like that.  But stripes.  So I went to town with striping tape and then added a coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white.  Doing one nail at a time and removing the tape immediately afterwards.  I definitely messed up my ring finger and there are other mistakes too but anyway.  It’s definitely stripes.  I topcoated and that was that.
