This is it!! The last day of the challenge. Wow, I can’t believe I made it through another year. I started this challenge off way unprepared, had some blog issues and some internet issues but thanks to the help of my cousin Jamcj and the Nail Anarchy legends I actually got through it quite comfortably.
You can follow everyone taking part by using the #31DC2015. I am going to be keeping my posts short and sweet throughout the challenge so that it means more time to get cracking with the prompts 😉 Here are the prompts for this year.
I don’t think anyone can say that this prompt is an easy one. There is amazing nail art out there and if you are anything like me you have them all pinned or bookmarked somehow. So of course, I had many options of nail I love. This one though. This one is perfection. It’s got pink in it, it’s got leopard print in it and it’s for gradients. Could it be any more perfect? These were done by Paulina’s Passions for the Day 13 prompt for #31DC2013 and I have had it pinned for almost as long. Let me show you what I did.
I started with a coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white and let it dry completely. I then did the gradients using China Glaze – Something sweet and China Glaze – Highlight of my summer. On my ring finger I did the gradient with the green between the pink and on all the others I went from pink to green. Once that was completely dry I used the same colours to make the leopard print spots on the opposite colour. I then used a thin brush and wow #393 to do the black. I topcoated and that was that. I absolutely love the idea of and the colours and even though hers were much better, I still loved mine too.
I didn’t do this prompt for #31DC2014 so this is a first.
What do you think? Do you also think these are the perfect nails to honour? I am a little obsessed with them I won’t lie.
Thanks for reading,
