Hean City Fashion nail polish #171 and #195 with nail art

Happy Friday! I hope the week has been kind to you. If not, I hope the weekend makes up for it in leaps and bounds.

I have the next 2 of the Hean City Fashion collection polishes to show you that I got from the amazing Glamore Cosmetics. This was an easy pairing for me but I was still a bit surprised when I swatched them. Let me show you and tell you why.

Hean City Fashion #171

This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a bright yellow with a very subtle gold shimmer. The shimmer isn’t super visible but it does give the polish crazy depth. Fabulous formula and opacity. The two coats were prefect to apply, no streaks or bald spots, which says a lot about a yellow polish.

Hean City Fashion #195

This is 2 coats with no topcoat. When I saw this purple in the bottle I thought it was a brighter purple but once I had it on my nails it was a bit darker than I expected. At first I was concerned that it wouldn’t work with the yellow but this purple is so gorgeous I fell in love. Fantastic formula and great opacity. Just look how shiny it is too. I had so many ideas for this purple in the future so I am sure you will see it often 😉

Let me show you how I paired these two.

I started with 2 coats of Hean City Fashion #171 on all my nails. Once it was completely dry I added striping tape to my middle and ring finger and added Hean City Fashion #195, removing the tape immediately. On my index finger I added striping to only half of my nail. I added Hean City Fashion to the whole nail and removed the tape immediately. On my pinky I also added striping tape to only half my nail but I added tape to the other half. I then added Hean City Fashion #195 to the whole nail and removed the tape immediately. This made only the one half stripes and the other half yellow. I topcoated everything and done.
