Twinsie nails with Juanita: Blue scribbled nails

Hi lovelies,

It’s finally weekend after what has felt like the longest week ever!  I hope the week has been kind to you.

I really enjoy doing twinsie nail with Juanita.  I usually leave all the details up to her because I suck at making decisions and I am not really that creative.  She ALWAYS comes up with fun, creative and challenging ideas for us to do.  This time was no different.  She sent me a link to these scribbled nails by The Adorned Claw and settled on a blue colour scheme.  Let me show you what I came up with.

I started with 2 coats of Nubar – Baby blue on all my nails.  While that was drying I started working on the decals.  I did them by making a blob and then ‘scribbling’ it with a tiny dotting tool.  I also wanted to make an ombre or gradient effect with the blues with the decals so I started with OPI – Yoga-ta get this blue on my index.  China Glaze – Frostbite on my middle.  Sinful Colors – Sweet nothing on my ring and China Glaze – Capacity to see beyond on my pinky.  I cut each decal smaller and applied it to my nails with topcoat.
