Wow it has been a long time! It is safe to say that I have missed blogging something crazy and I can’t wait to get going again. So much has been going on since my last post so let me tell you a bit about it and why I am taking a little longer than expected to get back.
If you’ve been following me on IG you might be aware of some renovations happening at home. It was a very exciting idea while planning it all but I can now confirm it is exhausting and dirty and messy and noisy and NOT such a great idea. It is also very expensive and people WILL mess you around, cost you even more than you expected and eventually annoy you so much you just want to be locked in a room for a day for some peace. I know though it going to be so worth it in the end. Unfortunately it has also taken much longer than expected. Luckily the renovations are done so no more builders but the painting seems to be taking a life time.
The painters took about 2 and a half week and hadn’t even finished the outside of the house before walking off the job. Luckily we now have brilliant painters taking over but they also have to redo a lot of the painting already done. So more paint ( have you seen how expensive paint it?). Anyway, we are finally getting somewhere.
So much of the house has been packed up or stored or covered up in anticipation of the painting. A lot of the stuff has also been put on hold until the painting is done. That means my sewing room is packed up and covered up. My polish room is in shambles. All my polish is packed in containers and packed away. I’ve also broken a million nails. And not even all at once. As soon as the broken nail has grown to a reasonable length another one would break. It’s a mess you guys and I am suffering from serious withdrawal. I believe that by this time next week it will all be done. Phew! That is fabulous news and I am going to hold thumbs that it is true. As soon as all the chaos is done I will take a day or 3 to set up everything and then I will be back better than ever.
I have the MoYou ‘Your magic workshop” mat to show you that I received from NailCandi. It is fabulous and has changed my life and I can’t wait to show it to you. I also have some polish from NailCandi to show you. I then also have a stamper comparison and review for you. I have quite a few new polishes to show you. I will also be back with NAILLinkup for June. I am also setting up my new mani cave with my new racks and desks and everything. I will be showing you that and telling you how I built my racks and a few other things. Here’s a hint. Its full of pink and leopard print 😉
I can’t wait to get back to it and I hope there are still a few of you out there reading. Hopefully I will see you soon with normal scheduling and lots of exciting things. I can’t wait!
Thanks for reading,
