Not only did last week fly by but so did the weekend! Did you have a good one?
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.Image
The prompt this week is yellow & green and I won’t lie, I was a little stumped at first. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to go pastel, neon, bright or a combination. During a few conversations around it and a few google searches I suddenly had something. It started with choosing just one polish and suddenly it all fell into place. Let me show you what I did,
I start with 2 coats of ILNP – Bermuda breeze on my pinky, 2 coats of I-Scream nails – Juicy juicy on my index and 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on my middle and ring finger. While that is all drying I stamp using Lina – Summer 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I coloured in the pineapples using Bermuda Breeze and Juicy juicy. Once they were dry enough, I applied the pineapples on my ring and middle finger. I topcoated and tah-dah!
I actually enjoyed these way more than I expected to. I also think this was the first time I did pineapples. What do you think? Would you have used, pastels, neons or bright? This was an interesting prompt and I am glad it made me think a bit.
