31DC2016 Day 07: Black & white nails

Hello lovelies,

It’s half way through the week and downhill to the weekend! woohoo!  We are not even half way through the challenge yet so I hope you’re not getting sick of all the nail art and posts.

Today is black & white and I just love monochrome nail art.  I went with something a bit different than I initially thought.  I am still undecided if I love it or hate it so let me show you.

On my index and pinky I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black.  On my middle and ring I started with 2 coats of OPI – Funny bunny.  I left it all to dry completely. I then used tape to tape off the tips of my index and pinky and used Sinful Colors – Snow me white to make white tips.  On my middle and ring finger I stamped using Pueen74 and Mundo de unas – white. I then added one more coat of OPI – Funny bunny and left it all to dry completely again. Once it was dry I used a french tip guide at an angle across my ring finger and then added a coat of Sinful Colors – Black on black.  I then used a thin nail art brush and Sinful Colors – Snow me white to make a white border where the black and white meets.  I then topcoated everything and that was that.

I wish I hadn’t made the white border where the black and white meet.  I don’t think it makes it look much better.  What do you think? Check out everyone else black and white creations using the InLinkz thingum below
