31DC2016 Day 12: Stripes

Hello lovelies,

Happy Monday.  I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  What did you get up to? I won’t lie, I am exhausted.  I feel like I need another weekend.  As predicted I did some work and I did some nails and I slept way too little.  I do hope you are way more refreshed after the weekend.

I know you haven’t seen all the prompts together in a while 😉 so you’re probably not sure what to expect in the next few days.  Here it is and don’t forget you can use the #31DC2016 on social media to find any posts.

Today is stripes and I really like stripes.  Stripes and polka dots is often my go to thing.  There is just so much you can do with either.  My awesome cousin Jamcj has been a super cheerleader and source of information again this year and she came up with this idea.  I must say, I LOVE it!  Let me show you,

I started with 2 coats of Revlon – Checkmate and left to dry 150%. I then used striping tape and Straight Liners 3mm vinyls from Because I Shop to make randomly placed thin and thicker lines across my nails.  I then added a coat of Sinful Colors – Black on black and immediately removed the tape on each nail as I painted.  Once I had done all my nails and removed all the tape I topcoated carefully to prevent smearing.
