31DC2016 Day 25: Inspired by fashion

Happy Sunday! Have you had a good weekend so far?

You guys,  we are on the home stretch…

Inspired by fashion.  It’s one I think is very fun because there are a million options to choose from.  I was catching up on tv series and caught Girlfriends’ guide to divorce.  In episode 13 of season 1, the girls all throw Abby a divorce party.  They have her wedding dress on a mannequin and a paintball gun.  I was so inspired by the outcome and how the dress looked that I knew I had to use it for today’s prompt.

Let me show you what I did

I started with 2 coats of OPI – Funny bunny on all my nails and let that dry completely. I then stamped a lace pattern using BP-L020 and Mundo de Unas – white.  This was to represent the lacy wedding dress.  I then got to work with some splatter.  I used China Glaze – DJ blue my mind, China Glaze – Lemon fizz, Hean #892 and Hean #895. I tried not to cover too much of the ‘dress’ but I am not sure if you can see much of it anyway.  I topcoated and that was that.

I really enjoyed doing this one and I like how it turned out as well.  What do you think?  Does it work?  I can’t wait to see all the other fashion inspired nail art so use the InLinkz thingamabob below.
