Hello lovelies,
Happy Friday! I anyone is brave enough to hit the shops today, good luck! I am heading off but I consider myself silly instead of dumb :/
Juanita and I have resumed our monthly twinsie nails posts and we will probably be joined by Joyce as well. What does that make it? Triplet nails? 😛 I am not sure if Joyce is joining us this month and in December we are taking a break. So all 3 of us will be doing the posts from January. I’ll update here once I know if Joyce is joining this month as well. **Update** Joyce will be posting. Once I am back from the madness I will update here with everyones links.
This month, we are being inspired by each other. I have had a particular post of Juanita’s on my ‘to do’ list of nail art and I finally get to do it. Juanita has opted to redo one of mine. Joyce’s recreation is still a surprise at this point 🙂 The post I am referring to is this gorgeous grey gradient. I wanted to recreate it as much as possible even though I don’t have all the same items she used. I do have some though so I used those as well. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 1 coat of China glaze – Intelligence, integrity & courage. I didn’t have the same base polish as Juanita so I improvised with something similar. Once that was completely dry I did a sponged gradient using Tip Top – Black forest and Tip Top – Triple putty. I finally had the same polishes as Juanita so I could use the same polishes for my gradient that she used for hers. I topcoated my gradient so it would dry fast and I could stamp. I didn’t have the same plate as Juanita but I had one that reminded me of the windmills she used. I used BM-407 and MoYou stamping polish in black. I then topcoated and that was that.
What do you think? I hope I did her nail art justice and that you can kinda see the link. I really really loved hers when she did it (it has been on my to do list for forever) and I kinda like how mine turned out as well. Thank you for the lovely inspiration Juanita. Don’t forget to pop over to her side of the fence to see what she was inspired by and then pop over to Joyce. As I said earlier, we will be back in January with some more fun twinsie nails and with another partner in crime. I am looking forward to it!
Thanks for reading,
Juanita

Ahh yay!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with! hah! I made it to the first shop, almost got taken out and decided to try a corner shop. All I needed was cheese and avo for dinner with the girls that night. When I got home it was online shopping for days!! 😛
