Hello lovelies,
Happy Friday! I hope you had a fabulous week. Mine has been good but long. I am really happy it’s the weekend AND it’s a long weekend for us as well. It’s also Decorex this weekend for all the Durban folks. Are you going? I’ll be there tomorrow.
I have mentioned before that some of the Why Can’t Every Day Be Halloween series polishes I will be showing you is probably not available in her store anymore. I am still showing you because Dollish Polish also has a Clearance bin store where she lists all discontinued and retired shades (at great prices). So chances are good that you might find some of these polishes in the Clearance Bin store at some point – If not already. So please don’t be mad for showing you polishes that you might not be able to get right now (there are a good few for me to still show you) but if you fall in love with any keep an eye out on the Clearance Bin store. Ok? Let’s go!
These are all from Season 1. These were all available again for the month of October 2016 and that is when I grabbed these. Let’s start at the very beginning
Dollish Polish – I put a spell on you (December 2015 / Season 1 month 3)
Inspired by Hocus Pocus, this is 3 coats with topcoat. This is a purple jelly with turquoise shimmer and glitter in various shades of blue, sea green and some purple. Isn’t this just ridiculously beautiful? I don’t know if anyone can look at this and say they don’t want it. Formula was fabulous. I used 3 coats but I think 2 would’ve been fine. Glitter coverage is fabulous and I love that this polish isn’t think and clumpy considering how much glitter is in here. Some of the glitter in this polish seems to glow in lower light too. The combinations of colour in this polish is just perfection. Let me give you a closer look.
Dollish Polish – We’ll tear your soul apart (January 2016 / Season 1 month 4)
Inspired by Hellraiser. This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a slate grey linear holo with black and red holo glitter, black shreds and copper multichrome flakies. You guys…..goodness. The formula on this one is ridiculous. It’s almost a one coater in opacity but 2 coats gives you a nice glitter pay off and depth. This polish is so unique and the combination of colour and glitters is fab. It’s subtle yet wow at the same time. Especially when you can see the holo too. Let me give you a closer look as well as a look at the holo.
Dollish Polish – I’m here to kick ass & chew bubblegum…..and I’m all out of bubblegum. ( March 2016 / Season 1 month 6)
Inspired by the John Carpenter cult classic, They Live!! This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a blue tone grey crelly with a blue shimmer packed with metallic glitter in various shades and size of blue, silver and red / burgundy. Yet another stunning formula. It’s slightly thicker than I put a spell on you but not very thick at all. Still easy to work with, applies smoothly and glitter coverage that is brilliant. Let me give you a closer look
Dollish Polish – We can defeat death (June 2016 / Season 1, month 9)
Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s Re-Animator!! This is 3 coats with topcoat. This is a super bright, neon green jelly loaded with micro holo glitters and lime green holo glitters!! Gorgeous formula and application. There isn’t as much glitter in this polish so you don’t even notice the glitter when applying. The coverage is great though and you don’t have to place them or move them around. I love how bright and juicy this polish is. It’s so summery. But can you imagine this paired with a dark grey? Love! Let me give you a closer look
What do you think? Which one is your favourite? I really wish I had grabbed more from season 1 but hopefully they will be available again and I can grab the rest. I don’t know if I can pick a favourite out of these 4 though. They are all so different and beautiful for different reasons. I think maybe We’ll tear your soul apart is the most unique. Have a fabulous weekend and I’ll see you on the other side.
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
Hellraiser is gorgeous… maybe it’s a good thing these are not available anymore 😉
