Hello lovelies,
Happy Friday! I hope you have had a fabulous week and have an epic weekend planned. My weekend will be epic while doing nothing hectic except recovering and playing with polish. We are renovating at home and a new batch has just started so you can imagine how that is going. I am looking forward to seeing the end result though. In the mean time it’s puppy cuddles and pretty polish to distract me.
The other night I was watching tv and I suddenly had this idea of a radial gradient with grey’s and purples. Once I saw the colours together I just knew what I wanted to do and with a little help from a friend, let me show you what I ended up with.
I started with 1 coat of China Glaze – What a pansy on all my nails. Once it was completely dry I did a sponged radial gradient using China Glaze – Elephant walk in the middle, then China Glaze – What a pansy and on the outside, China Glaze – Grape pop. Once the radial gradient was completely dry I stamped using W404 and Mundo de Unas – Yellow. I chose this image because it also had the radial feel to it and I thought it would work perfectly with the radial gradient. I topcoated and that was that.
What do you think? I really really like the colours together. Usually I would feel this is maybe too busy but in this case I actually liked it. I think the colours combined with the patterns makes it look like some funky wallpaper from the ’70’s. Or maybe a cool pair of hipster pants. I don’t know, I just really like it. What do you think? Am I losing it a bit?
I hope you have a great weekend and I’ll see you on the other side!
Thanks for reading,

There’s something about these nails that makes me come back and take another look… and another one, and another one. So if you’re losing it, I’m right alongside 😉

You know just what to say to make a girl feel good 🙂
Thank you so much. When I read your comment I felt MUCH better about it.

It reminds me of something, but I can’t put my finger on it…. I really like it though (I’m sure I have that image on a plate somewhere, now I have to go find it and do something with it)
Michelle Roberts
Ohhh did you find it? Thank you!
