Happy Monday! I hope you had a fabulous weekend. What did you get up to? Tell me everything because I have nothing to share. We planned it so that we didn’t need to go anywhere or do anything. I literally spent the whole weekend either reading, watching a movie or doing my nails (or working in the polish room which is kinda the same). It was heavenly. Even though I feel like I need a weekend after the weekend? What is that. I am supposed to be rested not needing to rest. 😉
It’s time for the next prompt in the #52weeknailchallenge from Polish Portfolio. This challenge is similar to the 31 Day challenge except this is one prompt for every week of the year. You can share yours on any day of the week as long as it falls within the week. Here is the list of prompts and you can use #52weeknailchallenge to keep track of any posts. I hope you’ll join in.
This week the prompt is Purple. I again had a million ideas racing through my mind. So let me show you what I settled on.
I started with 2 coats of ILNp – Walking home on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I then used Lina Feeling shapely 03 plate and stamped on my middle and ring finger using Mundo de unas -Purple and Mundo de Unas – Lilac. I topcoated and that was that.
This was so quick and simple but I loved how it came out. I love the peek through of holo under the stamping and I love the stamping gradient. Of course, I am quite fond of the purple colour scheme too. What do you think? Does it work for you? I was wondering if I should’ve added some black to break up all the purple.

This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a beautiful grape purple holo with a stunning formula. This is so holographic that I had no trouble getting it to show up in my lightbox. I now have quite a few purple holos. Let me know if you want to see some comparisons. (Most notably, the China Glaze and Color Club. )
