Hello lovelies,
Happy Youth Day my fellow South Africans. I hope you enjoy your day off today and even more so, the long weekend. I am hoping to play with all my new nail mail this weekend but I always say that. Do you have some epic plans or are you also taking it easy and relaxing?
Most of my nail art goodies comes from Born Pretty Store and I have rarely been disappointed. Today I have another amazing Born Pretty Store stamping plate to show you. I have BPL-66 to show you today and I really enjoyed the versatility. Let me show you.
I started with 2 coats of Color Club – What a shock on all my nails. While that was drying I started making the decals. I first stamped the full image and then multiple of the individual flower. I then used Color Club – Total mystery in the centre of each flower for a bit of shimmer and then filled in the rest of each flower using Color Club – Secret agent. Once everything was dry I transferred the flowers onto each nail, putting the full nail image on my ring finger and randomly placing the individual flowers on the rest of my nails. I topcoated and that was that.
I reaaallllly like how this turned out. I like the colours and I love the flowers. The shape of the flowers really make it stunning to work with. Of course, this isn’t all I did with the plate. Let me show you something else and completely different
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on all my nails. Once again, while that was drying, I started on the decals. On my ring and middle nails I used the mandala inspired flower image. I stamped using Mundo de Unas – Black. Then I started from the centre and moving outward, coloured it in using the following polishes. In order: China Glaze – Daisy know my name, China Glaze – Home sweet house music, China Glaze – Hot flash, China Glaze – Neon & on & on, China Glaze – I’ll pink to that and China Glaze – I got a blue attitude. On my index and pinky I isolated the flowers, stamped with Mundo de Unas – Black and then filled them in using the same coloursas the big flowers. I then isolated the the leaves stamped with Mundo de Unas – Green and filled them in with China Glaze – Lime after lime. I then placed the leaves randomly around the little flowers. Topcoated and done.
What do you think? I really enjoyed the flowery plate. I am really drawn to florals lately and this plate definitely satisfied the floral craving. What do you think of the plate and what I did with it? Do you have this plate or is it in your wishlist?
