Hanging a bare fling nail art

Hello lovelies,

Happy Wednesday! Yeah I know, this is a horrible title for a post but what can I do when the polish names just work together so well 😛 How has your week been so far?  I spent the whole day yesterday trying to renew my drivers license.  In the cold.  FUN!  But at least it is done now and I won’t have to do it again for 5 years.

This was such an accidental pairing.  The polishes were standing on my desk together and when I opened my stamping plates this plate was the first one I saw.  So here you have it, let me show you

On my pinky I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Bare attack and on the rest of my nails I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Too much of a good fling.  Once that was completely dry I did a stamping smoosh on my index and middle fingers using both these colours.  Once the smoosh was dry I stamped these little hangers using BPL-022 and Mundo de Unas – Black.  I topcoated everything and viola!

What do you think? Don’t these polishes look nice together?  I also have some swatches for you but I think they’re good mates.  Of course I couldn’t resist a smoosh.  When polishes just work together a smoosh is always a winner.  Let me show you some swatches of

China Glaze – Too much of a good fling

This is 2 coats with no topcoat.  It’s a beautiful light turquoise creme from the Spring Fling collection.  It has a good formula and opacity and is also a very popular shade.  I am sure you already have a shade similar to this but if you are anything like me, you can never have enough.  Because it is a popular shade I am happy to do comparisons.  If you want to see it compared to anything just let me know.

China Glaze – Bare attack

This is 2 coats with no topcoat.  This is an unusual brown / nude creme and I am not sure if I would ever wear it on it’s own but it pairs so well with so many colours.  The turquoise here, a pink and even a green.  The formula is great and so is the opacity so it really is a goodie for me.  This is from the Shades of Nude collection which just goes to show much I love nudes.  You can look forward to many more nude posts 😛
