Born Pretty Store stamping plate review BP-L067

Hello lovelies,

Finally Friday and a freezing one at that.  I remember on Monday having a bit of a whine because it was so hot and supposedly winter.  I take it all back.  Since then it has just gotten colder and colder :P.  It has been really nice to be able to snuggle into some hoodies. How has your week been?

I have another stamping plate to show you from Born Pretty Store.  As you know, most of my nail art supplies come from there and the stamping plates also seem to get better and more plates by the day.  Trust me, I have MANY of them 😉 . Today I have BP-L067 to show you and it is a goodie.  Let me show you.

I started with 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on all my nails and let that dry completely.  I then did a sponged gradient using China Glaze – UV means to be and China Glaze – Lime after lime.  While the gradient was drying I started with the flowers. I stamped the hibiscus images using Mundo de unas – Black and then filled them in with Hean #890 (yellow) in the middle of each on.  I then used China Glaze – None of your risky business (orange) and China Glaze – Hot flash (neon red) to do the rest of the flower.  I also used China Glaze – Treble maker for the leaves on the full nail image on my ring finger.  Once all the flowers were coloured in and dry I got ready to put them over the gradient.  I used the full image on my ring finger as mentioned and then randomly placed the other individual flowers on the rest of my nails. I topcoated and that was that.

What do you think?  This turned out so summery and bright and I loved it.  It also happened on the weekend that was so hot so it was almost perfect! I wasn’t sure at first about the mixing of the 2 colours in such a non specific way but I like it.  Just don’t look too closely :P. I really really love this plate too.  The images are perfect size and super clear and stamps beautifully.  Also a huge variety of flowers.  I can’t wait to use it again.  I initially couldn’t decide what to do but now I have so many ideas!
