Hey guys,
It’s Friday!! It has been a really busy week but also a good week. How has your week been? This has been a week of contemplation too. It’s strange where your mind goes when you give it free reign. Not to worry though, I am not getting deep today. 😉
Before I show you the nail art for today I was wondering if anyone is doing the 31 Day Challenge? I am so unsure. I’ve done it 3 years before and I feel like now I should do it to keep the momentum going. I also like how it pushes you creatively. It’s just very time consuming and I am already having such a hard time staying on top of things. I don’t know how this started because I’m usually way ahead of schedule. Ugh. Help me. Tell me what I should do. Ok, let me show you the nail art.
I started with 1 coat of China Glaze – Turned up turquoise and left that to dry completely. I then did a sponged gradient using China Glaze – Turned up turquoise and China Glaze – Concrete catwalk. I then stamped on my ring and middle finger using Lina Feeling Shapely 5 and Mundo de Unas – Gold. On my pinky and index I used Born Pretty Store small round gold studs. I topcoated and that was that.
What do you think? I’m not sure if I am in love with the gold but I am obsessed with the gradient. I am just not sure if the gold goes with it. I love the stamped image too. I also have swatches of these two gorgeous polishes.
China Glaze – Concrete catwalk
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a dark concrete grey creme and is almost a one coater with a beautiful formula. I love this colour and I love the finish and I love the formula. This is a total winner.
China Glaze – Turned up turquoise.
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a gorgeous bright turquoise with a shimmer. It dries matte and the shimmer does look fab but it really pops with topcoat. It has a stunning formula and I love that it applied so well with no streaks considering it is matte. Let me show you with topcoat
Do you have any of these polishes? Do you love them as much as I do? What do you think of them? Let me know what you think and also what colour you think I should’ve paired it with instead of the gold. Have a beautiful weekend my lovelies. See you on the flip side.
Thanks for reading,
Juanita
Ooooooooh I like this. The colours go great together and yes the gold fits.

Oh yay! Thanks so much Juanita! I was a little iffy about the gold but now I feel much better 😛

So pretty!!!
*wonders if she should say she probably would have used silver instead of gold… nah, keeps her mouth shut as it’s really pretty with the gold*
The 31Day Challenge is something that I look at, think about for a couple of seconds and decide against it. I simply don’t have the time to do a manicure each day AND take pictures AND write about it… and I like to enjoy my nails for a couple of days before taking the polish off again. I’m seriously considering the 52Week Challenge for next year though, jump in at week 1 and try to keep going until the end of the year 🙂

Ahhhh YES!!! Silver would’ve been a TOTAL winner!! Ugh see, you are just so smart. Thank you 😀
I completely hear you about the 31 Day Challenge. I am usually quite a bit ahead so it isn’t too much of a strain. If I start in August it isn’t really a mani a day so it is probably more of a cheat 😛
