Hey guys,
The week has gone by in a blink of an eye am I right? Good grief. I hope your week has been treating you well. Good news is it’s down hill to the weekend AND a new month! Such a beautiful month too. I can’t wait. 😉
Today I am showing you the Dollish Polish – The Danger Zone collection. I am utterly obsessed with this collection. I adore every single one of the polishes ( I know, this is nothing new when it comes to Dollish Polish. Let me show you the polishes and you can see for yourself.
Dollish Polish – Call Kenny Loggins, cause you’re in the danger zone
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is one of the more opaque polishes in this collection and even 1 coat is almost enough. It’s better in two, especially the extra depth in the glitter. This is a royal, vibrant purple packed with silver holo and micro flakies. It is beyond gorgeous. Take away the flakies, this colour is just so beautiful. The stunning silver glitter just takes this to another level. Beautiful formula too. Let me give you a closer look
Dollish Polish – Code name: Duchess
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is described as a bright silver holo with blue/violet duochrome shimmer, packed with holo micro flakes and micro glitters in shades of silver, purple, magenta, turquoise, and cobalt. This polish blew my mind. It is so blingy and sparkly with all the silver and glitter and then bam! The holo catches you and I was just stunned. I couldn’t stop staring at my nails and had a hard time taking this off. I wore this way longer than I intended because it was so beautiful. It applied really beautifully and easily with full coverage. You can’t really see the holo so well in the light box pics so let me give you a closer look and then a blurry shot to show you the holo
Dollish Polish – Do you want ants? Because that’s how you get ants
This is 2 coats with topcoat. It is described as a coral orange creme with duochrome shimmer, flashing from gold to pink, and with magenta/green/gold ultra chameleon chrome flakies. This is such a unique polish and applied so easily. The flakies and glitter applied and spread perfectly and I love how it looks. The chameleon flakies are also pretty obvious, especially in the sun. Let me give you a closer look and have a look at the gorgeous flakies.
Dollish Polish – Holy shitsnacks
This is 3 coats with topcoat. It is described as a classic bubblegum pink with duochrome shimmer, flashing green to blue. I wish I could pick up the duochrome shimmer better but if you look closely at the edges you will get a hint of it. I will say it is more obvious in real life. This is such a sweet polish it almost feels like sugar and sparkles. It is quite sheer initially but builds up really well and 3 coats will be more than enough for full coverage. Depending on your coats, 2 might be enough. This is another one that is perfect for corporate wear because it is soft and delicate but packs a punch when you hit different light. It’s beautiful! Let me give you a closer look.
Dollish Polish – Lanaaaa!
This is 2 coats with topcoat. I mean come on! Again, I am not really drawn to greens but as usual Dollish Polish has made a green that I am absolutely obsessed with. It is described as a vibrant kelly green jelly, loaded with varying shades of green micro glitters, color-shifting glitters, red micro flakes, and gold/olive/green ultra chameleon chrome flakies. Vibrant is absolutely a word I would use to describe this polish. It looks like this polish is alive on my nails. I kept walking around with my nails up and turning it this way and that in different light. In some light the red flakes would glow and in some the chameleon flakie shift to gold would be unbelievable. This applied beautifully. I used 2 coats and in some spot you can see the green jelly but I think the coverage is stunning and I didn’t think it needed more than those 2 coats. I just love how the glitter and flakies are spread in this polish. Let me give you a closer look.
Dollish Polish – Phrasing
This is 2 coats with topcoat. It is described as a cobalt blue jelly, packed with varying shades of blue holo micro glitters. I want to, again, throw my hands in the air and shout ‘Come on!’. It is a vibrant shade, applies beautifully, packed with glitter and I love how the light catches and you almost get the blurple look. This is a beaut! Let me give you a closer look.
Dollish Polish – Sploosh
This is 2 coats with topcoat. It is described as a white crelly with varying matte glitters in shades of red, pink, neon green, and aqua. I am utterly obsessed with this one. I just love these kinds of polishes and this colour combination of glitter is a total winner. One of my favourite things about these type of polishes and that no 2 nails ever look the same. I adore this polish and it helps that it basically applies itself. I didn’t have to place, smoosh, push or shove any glitter into position. As it is is how it applied with every brushstroke. I looooooooove it. Let me give you a closer look at TWO nails so you can see just how amazing and versatile it is.
Dollish Polish – You’re not my supervisor.
This is 3 coats with topcoat. It is described as a translucent aquamarine with green shimmer, packed with holo micro flakes and glitters in shades of lavender, lime, and turquoise. Now, this is a beautiful polish with a beautiful formula and great glitter coverage. When I first applied it I felt like I had somehow……covered too much of the glitter? I don’t know why I felt like 3 coats was a bit too much. I don’t know if 2 coats would have been enough for coverage as it is a bit of a sheer polish BUT I though it might’ve helped with me feeling like I had too much on. THEN…..i had it on my nails for a few hours and at some point the light caught it and I was in love. Would it maybe shine more in just 2 coats? Maybe. Is it just as gorgeous and beautiful in 3? Absolutely! Why am I telling you all this? I was initially a bit disappointed because I didn’t think it looked like the beautiful swatches on the website. I am telling you this to remind you that sometimes just one coat can make a difference to how a polish looks AND just because it looks a bit different doesn’t make it any less beautiful. I absolutely love this polish. I am obsessed with the colour combination and how it just sparkles! Let me give you a closer look.
What do you think? Do you have a favourite? Can you even pick a favourite? It is impossible for me to pick a favourite because I really love them all but I think You’re not my supervisor, Code name: Duchess and Do you want ants? Because that’s how you get ants is probably the most unique ones. Actually, they are all pretty unique but these are maybe the most unique combinations. As far as colours and polishes go this might be one of my favourites so far. It is such a stunning variety and combination. Have you got any polishes from this collection? Do you want to see any comparison? Let me know what you think.
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
*grabs scroll thingie and drags it down as fast as possible to prevent the viewing of more polishes while not in possession of budget*
That purple is beautiful though… and did I spot a gorgeous green while the page was flashing by?
*drat and double drat… failed again*
